You can easily add Google Classroom to your desktop by creating a shortcut. Here's how:
- Open Google Chrome: Make sure you are using the Google Chrome browser.
- Go to Google Classroom: Navigate to the Google Classroom website (https://classroom.google.com/).
- Access Chrome's Menu: Click on the three vertical dots (the "More" menu) located in the top-right corner of the Chrome browser window.
- Navigate to More Tools: In the dropdown menu, hover over "More tools."
- Create Shortcut: A submenu will appear. Click on "Create shortcut."
- Name the Shortcut: A dialog box will appear asking you to name the shortcut. "Google Classroom" is a good choice, or you can use any name you prefer.
- Create as Window (Optional): Check the box labeled "Open as window" if you want Google Classroom to open in its own separate window, rather than as a tab within your existing Chrome window. This is recommended.
- Click Create: Click the "Create" button.
A shortcut to Google Classroom will now be placed on your desktop, allowing you to quickly access it with a single click.
