Here's how to remove a light or other device from your Google Home:
- Open the Google Home app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Tap either "Favorites" or "Devices" depending on which screen you prefer. Both display your connected devices.
- Tap and hold the tile representing the light or device you wish to remove. This will open the device's settings.
- At the top right of the screen, tap the Settings icon (it looks like a gear).
- Scroll down and tap "Remove device."
- Confirm the removal by tapping "Remove" in the confirmation window.
The light or device is now removed from your Google Home setup. If the device is still connected to other services (like a Philips Hue Bridge), you may need to remove it from those services separately.
