Google Nest routers update automatically. Software updates occur automatically when available.
Checking Your Router's Software Version
While you can't manually force an update, you can check your current software version within the Google Home app:
- Go to your device's settings in the Google Home app. This will show you the current version your router is running.
Keep in mind that software updates are rolled out over a number of days or weeks. The current version information is updated once it's available to all devices.
