Copying text on a Google Pixel device is a straightforward process. Once copied, the content is stored on your clipboard, allowing you to paste it into another location.
Here's how to copy and paste on a Google Pixel:
- Select the text: Touch and hold the word you want to copy. Handles will appear at each end of the word. Drag these handles to select all the text you want to copy.
- Copy the text: A pop-up menu will appear above the selected text. Tap "Copy."
- Paste the text: Go to the location where you want to paste the text (e.g., a text message, a document, a search bar). Tap and hold in the text field. A "Paste" option will appear. Tap "Paste." The copied text will now appear in the text field. (Reference from YouTube video at 0:06-0:49 shows that once copied to the clipboard, you can paste it anywhere).
After pasting, you can return to your previous screen by tapping the "X" on the screen.
