How do I copy on Google Pixel?

Published in Google Pixel Tips 1 min read

Copying text on a Google Pixel device is a straightforward process. Once copied, the content is stored on your clipboard, allowing you to paste it into another location.

Here's how to copy and paste on a Google Pixel:

  1. Select the text: Touch and hold the word you want to copy. Handles will appear at each end of the word. Drag these handles to select all the text you want to copy.
  2. Copy the text: A pop-up menu will appear above the selected text. Tap "Copy."
  3. Paste the text: Go to the location where you want to paste the text (e.g., a text message, a document, a search bar). Tap and hold in the text field. A "Paste" option will appear. Tap "Paste." The copied text will now appear in the text field. (Reference from YouTube video at 0:06-0:49 shows that once copied to the clipboard, you can paste it anywhere).

After pasting, you can return to your previous screen by tapping the "X" on the screen.
