How Do I Clear All Apps on Google Pixel?

Published in Google Pixel 1 min read

To clear all open apps on your Google Pixel, use the following steps:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and hold, then release. This opens the recent apps view.
  2. Swipe from left to right across the app previews. This allows you to navigate through the list of open apps.
  3. On the left side of the screen, you should see a "Clear all" button. Tap it.

This will close all the apps that are currently running in the background.

It's worth noting that clearing all apps might not always be necessary. Android is designed to manage apps efficiently, and frequently closing apps can sometimes use more battery power than leaving them running in the background. However, if an app is misbehaving or you want to free up memory, clearing all apps can be a useful troubleshooting step.
