To put the same picture into multiple different shapes on Google Slides, you'll use the crop tool's shape feature for each shape you desire.
Here's how:
-
Insert your image: Add the picture you want to use into your Google Slides presentation.
-
Select the image: Click on the image to select it.
-
Access the Crop Tool: Look for the "Crop" icon in the toolbar (it looks like two overlapping corners). Instead of clicking the "Crop" icon directly, click the down arrow right next to it. This reveals the "Mask image" options.
-
Choose a Shape: A dropdown menu with various shapes will appear. Select the shape you want to use for your first instance of the image. The image will be cropped into that shape.
-
Repeat as Needed: For each additional shape you want to use, repeat steps 2-4, selecting a different shape each time. You will essentially be making cropped copies of your original image.
In summary, Google Slides allows you to crop an image into a variety of shapes, letting you display one picture in multiple forms throughout your presentation. Remember to use the dropdown arrow next to the standard crop tool to access the shape options.
