How Do I Save a Picture from Google Slides?

There are several ways to save a picture from Google Slides:

Method 1: Shift and Right-Click

  1. Select the image you want to save.
  2. Hold down the Shift key while right-clicking on the image.
  3. Choose "Save image as..." from the context menu.
  4. Select a location and filename, then click "Save."

Method 2: Copy and Paste

  1. Select the image you want to save.
  2. Copy the image (Ctrl+C or Cmd+C).
  3. Open an image editing program like Paint (Windows) or Preview (Mac).
  4. Paste the image (Ctrl+V or Cmd+V) into the program.
  5. Save the image from the image editing program in your desired format (e.g., JPEG, PNG).

Method 3: Open in Keep

  1. Right-click on the image within Google Slides.
  2. Select "Save to Keep." The image will be added to a new note in Google Keep.
  3. In Google Keep, open the note containing the image.
  4. Right-click on the image in Google Keep and choose "Save image as..."
  5. Select a location and filename, then click "Save."

Method 4: Download the Image Slide

  1. If the image is the primary focus of a slide, you can download the entire slide as an image.
  2. Go to "File" > "Download."
  3. Choose either "JPEG image (.jpg)" or "PNG image (.png)."
  4. This will download the current slide as an image file.
  5. If other elements exist on the slide, you may need to crop the image to isolate the desired picture.
