But as the popularity of edge styling has grown, women of color have elevated them into a form of artistry, creating elaborate designs and looks with their baby hairs. While these hairs have always been present, the term "edges" and their specific styling practices have become mainstream in recent years, adding a new dimension to the world of hair styling.
