Sneezing more than once is very normal. Some people sneeze the same number of times each time, and while 12 sneezes may seem like a lot, it's not inherently abnormal. If you notice you sneeze more frequently, you may have an allergy that you are unaware of or inflammation of the nasal cavity called chronic rhinitis.
However, a study found that more than 95% of normal persons sneezed and blew their nose less than 4 times a day, on average. Therefore, while 12 sneezes might not be a cause for concern, if it's a frequent occurrence, it's best to consult a doctor to rule out any underlying medical conditions.
