What is the part between your forearm and shoulder called?

Published in Human Anatomy 1 min read

The part of your body between your forearm and shoulder is called the upper arm.

This section of the arm contains one long bone called the humerus. The humerus connects to the shoulder at the shoulder joint and to the forearm bones (radius and ulna) at the elbow joint. Muscles in the upper arm, such as the biceps brachii and triceps brachii, facilitate movement at these joints, allowing you to bend and straighten your arm.
