Where is the root of the nose?

Published in Human Anatomy 1 min read

The root of the nose is located where the nose connects with the forehead.

In other words, it's the uppermost part of your nose, situated at the junction between the nasal bones and the frontal bone of your skull. This area marks the beginning of the external nasal structure. You can easily identify it by feeling the bony ridge that starts just below your eyebrows and continues down as your nose.
