Which is the thinnest bone?

Published in Human Anatomy 1 min read

The stapes is the thinnest bone in the human body. It is one of the three ossicles (small bones) found in the middle ear, responsible for transmitting sound vibrations from the eardrum to the inner ear. The stapes is named for its resemblance to a stirrup, a type of footrest used in horseback riding.
