To send a video via an iCloud link, follow these simple steps:
Steps to Send an iCloud Link Video
- Open the Photos App: Go to the Photos app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Select the Video: Tap on the video you want to share.
- Access Sharing Options: Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing upwards).
- Choose Copy iCloud Link: In the share sheet, scroll down and tap "Copy iCloud Link." If you don't see this option initially, tap "Options" at the top and ensure "iCloud Link" is enabled. The link will then be created and copied to your clipboard.
- Share the Link: Open the Messages app, Mail app, or any other app you want to use to send the link. Paste the iCloud link into a message to the recipient.
- Send the Message: Send the message containing the iCloud link. The recipient can then tap the link to view and download the video.
Note: The recipient doesn't need an iCloud account to view the video, but the link will expire after 30 days. You can also stop sharing the link at any time from the Photos app by selecting the video, tapping the Share button, and then choosing "Stop Sharing."
