Published in Image Editing 2 mins read

To add one image on top of another in Photoshop Express, you'll use the app's layering feature. Here's how to do it:

Steps to Combine Images in Photoshop Express

  1. Start with Combine Photos: On the Photoshop Express home screen, select Combine Photos.
  2. Choose Base Image: Select the image you want to use as your background or base from your mobile device.
  3. Access Layers: After selecting the base image, tap on the Layers icon located in the toolbar.
  4. Add a New Layer: Tap on the + icon to add a new layer. Choose to add another image from your device. This new image will appear as a layer on top of your base image.
  5. Adjust and Transform: Once the second image is added as a layer, you can:
    • Adjust its position: Drag the new image around to reposition it on top of the base image.
    • Resize: Use the corners of the bounding box to make it bigger or smaller.
    • Edit: Tap on Edit and Transform to apply effects like:
      • Looks: Add filters for color effects.
      • Adjustments: Modify brightness, contrast, etc.
      • Rotate: Turn the image.
      • Flip: Horizontally or vertically flip the image.
  6. Save Your Creation: Finally, select Save to save your layered image to your device.
