To resize an image in Paint, right-click on the image file, choose "Open with," then select "Paint." Once the image is open, follow these steps:
- Right-click on the image within Paint.
- Select "Resize." This opens the Resize and Skew window.
- Choose "Pixels." This allows you to specify the new image size in pixels.
- Enter the desired horizontal or vertical size. The other dimension will automatically adjust to maintain the aspect ratio if "Maintain aspect ratio" is checked. Ensure this box is checked unless you specifically want to distort the image.
- Click "OK."
- Save the resized image: Go to "File" > "Save As" and choose a new name and location to avoid overwriting the original. It's generally not recommended to resize to make an image bigger in Paint, as this can severely degrade image quality. It's best to resize smaller if needed.
