You can select faces in Neural Filters either from the thumbnail preview menu or directly within the image in the document itself.
Here's a breakdown of the face selection process:
Face Selection Methods
-
Thumbnail Preview Menu:
- When you apply a Neural Filter that recognizes faces, a thumbnail preview menu appears at the top of the options panel. This menu displays all detected faces in the image.
- Clicking on a thumbnail selects the corresponding face in the image.
-
Directly in the Document:
- You can also select faces by clicking on them directly within the image displayed in the document window.
Visual Cues
- A blue rectangle indicates the currently selected face. This is both in the thumbnail and on the face itself in the image.
- Gray rectangles highlight the other detected faces that are not currently selected. These rectangles also appear both in the thumbnail preview menu and on the faces in the image.
Example Scenario
Imagine you have a group photo with five faces. When you apply a Neural Filter designed to work with faces, five thumbnails will appear in the face selection menu. A blue rectangle will highlight one of these thumbnails (and the corresponding face in the image). You can then click on any of the other four thumbnails (or on the corresponding faces in the image itself) to select a different face and apply filter settings specifically to that individual.
