How do I turn off the sound on my iPad 11?

There are a couple of easy ways to turn off the sound (mute) on your iPad 11.

Methods to Mute Your iPad 11:

• Using the Volume Down Button: Press and hold the Volume Down button on the side of your iPad until the volume is completely muted.

• Using Control Center:

  1. Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen to open Control Center.
  2. Tap the bell icon. This toggles Silent mode on or off. When Silent mode is on, the bell icon will be highlighted or colored, and your iPad will be muted.
