You can share audio from your iPhone SE with another person using compatible headphones (like AirPods or Beats) using the Audio Sharing feature. Here's how:
-
Connect your headphones: Make sure your headphones are connected to your iPhone SE.
-
Access Control Center: Swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen (on iPhone SE models with Face ID) or swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen (on iPhone SE models with a Home button).
-
Tap the AirPlay button: Look for the AirPlay button (it looks like a triangle with circles above it). Tap on it. If you are already playing audio it may appear on the now playing widget.
-
Tap "Share Audio": In the AirPlay menu, tap on "Share Audio."
-
Bring iPhones Close Together: Have the person you want to share with bring their iPhone close to yours.
-
Follow Prompts: On their iPhone, they should tap "Join" when prompted. You may also need to tap "Share Audio" on your iPhone.
Important Notes:
- Compatibility: Audio Sharing works with AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and some Beats headphones. Make sure both devices are compatible.
- Software Version: Both iPhones need to be running iOS 13.1 or later.
- Headphones Must be Connected: The other person needs to have their compatible headphones connected to their iPhone before attempting to join the shared audio.
- Individual Volume Control: Each person can control their own volume level.
