How do I stop mirroring an image on my iPhone?

Published in iPhone Camera 1 min read

To stop mirroring the front-facing camera images on your iPhone, you need to disable the "Mirror Front Camera" setting. Here's how:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Camera.
  3. Find the "Mirror Front Camera" or "Mirror Front Photos" option. This may also be called "Mirror Selfies" on some iPhones.
  4. Toggle the switch to the off position. This will prevent your front camera from mirroring images when you take a photo or video.

Now, when you take selfies or use the front-facing camera, the image will be saved as you see it in the viewfinder, without being flipped horizontally.
