You can change your iPhone lock screen directly from the locked screen by using a long press.
Here's how to change your lock screen from the locked screen:
- Touch and hold the Lock Screen: Press and hold on your iPhone's lock screen until the "Customize" button appears at the bottom. If you don't see it immediately, try again and ensure you're pressing and holding the screen.
- Enter your passcode (if required): If prompted, enter your iPhone's passcode.
- Swipe to the screen you want to change: Swipe left or right to browse through your existing lock screen options.
- Tap Customize: Select the lock screen you'd like to modify and tap "Customize." This will open the lock screen editor.
- Tap Lock Screen: In the customization options, ensure you select "Lock Screen" to edit that specific screen.
- Make your changes: Customize the clock font, widgets, wallpaper, and more.
- Tap Done: Once you're satisfied with your changes, tap "Done" in the upper-right corner.
- Tap Set as Wallpaper Pair or Customize Home Screen: Choose whether you want the same wallpaper on your home screen or customize it separately.
This process allows you to quickly and easily switch between different lock screen designs you've previously created. If you want to create a completely new lock screen, you can also do that from this menu by swiping to the end of your existing lock screens and tapping the "+" button.
