How do I turn off Lost Mode on my iPhone?

Published in iPhone Security 2 mins read

You can turn off Lost Mode on your iPhone either through iCloud or directly on the device itself. Here's how:

Method 1: Turning off Lost Mode via iCloud

  1. Go to iCloud Find: Open a web browser and navigate to icloud.com/find.
  2. Sign In: If prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password associated with the iPhone that is in Lost Mode.
  3. Select Device: After logging in, you'll see a map with your devices listed below "All Devices" on the left-hand side of the screen. Select the iPhone that's currently in Lost Mode.
  4. Stop Lost Mode: A small window will pop up showing information about your iPhone. Click on "Lost Mode."
  5. Confirm Deactivation: Click "Stop Lost Mode" again to confirm that you want to turn it off. You may be asked to confirm your decision one last time.

Method 2: Turning off Lost Mode Directly on Your iPhone

If you have your iPhone and remember your passcode, the easiest way to turn off Lost Mode is directly on the device:

  1. Enter Passcode: Simply enter the passcode you use to unlock your iPhone. This will automatically disable Lost Mode.

Once you enter the correct passcode, Lost Mode will be disabled, and your iPhone will return to its normal state. You'll no longer see the Lost Mode message on the screen.
