Who took care of Hazrat Ali?

Published in Islamic History 1 min read

Hazrat Ali was primarily taken care of by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (S) himself.

Initially, Abu Talib, the Prophet Muhammad's (S) uncle, cared for Hazrat Ali. Due to a severe famine in Mecca, the Prophet Muhammad (S) took Ali into his household to alleviate Abu Talib's burden. This happened when Ali was around five or six years old. From then on, the Prophet Muhammad (S) raised Ali as his own son, providing for his needs and guiding him.

Therefore, while Abu Talib initially provided care, the Prophet Muhammad (S) became Hazrat Ali's primary caretaker from a young age.
