The Manufacturing Process of Wood Laminate Flooring

Laminate flooring is a multi-layer flooring material made from wood fiber. It is specifically designed to give the closest replication of natural wood material in appearance and texture.

The fundamental process involves combining several distinct layers. These layers are then fused together under intense conditions to form a single, rigid plank. The Four Main Layers

The assembled four main layers (backing, core, design, and wear layers) are subjected to very high temperature and pressure. This intense heat and pressure cycle are applied in one single operation, effectively fusing the layers into a single, inseparable, and durable board. This process ensures a strong bond between all components, resulting in a hard-wearing floor covering.
