How Do I Paste Multiple Settings in Lightroom?

Published in Lightroom Editing 2 mins read

You can paste multiple settings in Lightroom by copying the settings from one image and then pasting them onto multiple other images.

Here's a breakdown of how to do it:

  1. Copy the Settings:

    • In Lightroom's Develop module, select the image whose settings you want to copy.
    • Right-click on the image, and choose "Copy Settings." Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+C on Windows or Cmd+Shift+C on Mac). Choose which settings you would like to copy.
  2. Select Target Images:

    • In the Filmstrip (at the bottom of the Develop module) or in the Library module's Grid view, select the images you want to apply the settings to. You can select multiple images by holding down Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) and clicking on each image, or by clicking the first image in a series and Shift-clicking the last image.
  3. Paste the Settings:

    • Right-click on any of the selected images, and choose "Paste Settings." Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+V on Windows or Cmd+Shift+V on Mac).

Lightroom will then apply the copied settings to all the selected images. This is a quick and efficient way to apply consistent adjustments across a batch of photos.
