A Spanish girl born in January 1775 with diprosopus had three eyes.
Diprosopus is a rare congenital disorder where a person has duplication of craniofacial structures. In this specific case, the girl had a third eye, which was actually a combination of two eyes merged together. She also had two noses, two mouths, and three chins. This condition led to her being exhibited as a curiosity throughout Spain and neighboring countries. While many individuals are born with conditions that affect their appearance, cases of diprosopus, and specifically those involving three eyes, are exceedingly rare.
