What is the TUSS test?

Published in Medical Assessment 1 min read

The TUSS test assesses a person's ability to stand unsupported. If they are unable to stand without assistance, they are allowed to place one hand on a table for support, and the timing stops when they steady themselves with the other hand. If the person is extremely unsteady, they may use both hands on the table for support to stand.

In summary, the TUSS test evaluates standing stability and provides assistance as needed to facilitate the assessment.
