The full form of PLC disease is Pityriasis Lichenoides Chronica.
Pityriasis Lichenoides Chronica (PLC) is a rare skin condition characterized by a rash of unknown origin. It is considered the chronic, or longer-lasting, form of a related condition. The acute form is called Pityriasis Lichenoides et Varioliformis Acuta (PLEVA), also known as Mucha-Habermann disease. PLC manifests as small, scaly, red-brown papules (small, raised bumps) that typically appear on the trunk and extremities. The exact cause of PLC is unknown but it's thought to be related to an altered immune response.
