A C-arm uses X-ray technology to produce real-time images of internal structures. Its distinctive "C" shape houses both the X-ray source (generator) and an image intensifier or flat-panel detector. This design allows for flexible positioning, enabling the capture of images from various angles.

Components and Function

  • X-ray Source (Generator): This component emits X-rays, which pass through the patient's body.
