What is the Use of Seclo?

Seclo is used to treat various gastrointestinal conditions related to acid production. Specifically, it is indicated for:

  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), including reflux esophagitis and acid reflux disease
  • Duodenal and benign gastric ulcers
  • Eradication of Helicobacter pylori in peptic ulcer disease, in combination with antibiotics
  • Prophylaxis of acid aspiration (reducing the risk of acid entering the lungs during surgery)
  • Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome (ZES), a condition where the stomach produces too much acid.

In essence, Seclo reduces acid production in the stomach, thereby alleviating symptoms and promoting healing in the aforementioned conditions.
