How do I add a security key to my Microsoft account?

To add a security key to your Microsoft account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Microsoft account page and sign in with your username and password, or any other method you normally use.
  2. Navigate to the Security section.
  3. Select More security options.
  4. Find and select Add a new way to sign in or verify.
  5. Choose Use a security key.
  6. You'll be prompted to identify your key type. Select whether you have a USB or NFC security key, and then select Next.

After these steps, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the security key registration process. Remember to keep your security key in a safe place!
