Deleting favorites in Microsoft Edge is a straightforward process. Here's how you can remove unwanted bookmarks:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge: Launch the Microsoft Edge browser on your computer.

  2. Access the Favorites Hub: Click the Hub icon (it looks like three horizontal lines or stars) located on the right side of the address bar. This opens the Favorites, Reading list, and History panel.

  3. Select Favorites: Ensure the Favorites icon (shaped like a star) is selected at the top of the Hub panel. This will display your saved favorites.

  4. Delete a Favorite (Desktop):

    • Right-click on the favorite you want to delete.
    • Select Delete from the context menu.
  5. Delete a Favorite (Touchscreen or alternative):

    • Select and hold the favorite you want to delete for approximately one second.
    • Release your finger/mouse.
    • Select Delete.

Alternatively, you can also manage your favorites through the favorites management page:

  1. Open the Favorites Hub (as described above).
  2. Click the three dots (...) menu within the Favorites panel.
  3. Select Manage favorites. This opens a full-page view of your favorites.
  4. Here, you can:
    • Right-click on a favorite and select Delete.
    • Select a favorite, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
    • Drag and drop favorites to reorganize them or move them into different folders before deleting.

By following these steps, you can easily remove unwanted favorites from your Microsoft Edge browser.
