How do I install only Excel 365?

To install only Excel 365 (and not the entire Microsoft 365 suite), you need to customize the installation process. Here's how:

  1. Begin the Installation: Start the Microsoft 365 installation process as you normally would, either from the Microsoft website or a disc.

  2. Look for Customization Options: During the installation setup, you should see a button or option labeled something like "Customize" or "Choose which apps to install."

  3. Select Excel Only: Click the "Customize" button. This will present a list of all the Microsoft 365 apps (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Uncheck all the programs except Excel.

  4. Complete Installation: Once you have deselected all unwanted applications and only Excel is selected, proceed with the installation.

  5. Password (Mac): If you are on a Mac, you may be prompted to enter your Mac login password. Do so, and then click "Install Software."

By following these steps, only Excel 365 will be installed on your device. You won't have any of the other Microsoft 365 applications taking up space.
