How Do You Increase the Eraser Size in Paint?

Published in Microsoft Paint 1 min read

To increase the eraser size in Microsoft Paint, select the Eraser tool and then choose a larger size from the "Size" options available in the toolbar.

Specifically, here's how to do it:

  1. Select the Eraser Tool: Click on the Eraser tool icon in the Paint toolbar. It looks like a pink square.
  2. Choose a Size: Look for the "Size" option in the toolbar, usually located near the tool selection area.
  3. Select a Larger Size: Click the dropdown menu associated with the "Size" option. You'll see a selection of different sizes represented by different thicknesses. Choose a thicker line to increase the eraser size. The available size options are usually 1, 2, 3, and 4 pixels wide.

Keep in mind that the maximum eraser size available in Paint is limited. There is no direct method to make it exceptionally large beyond the pre-defined size options.
