1. Access Design Mode:
- Click the "Developer" tab at the top of the Word window. If you don't see the "Developer" tab, you'll need to enable it. To do this:

- In the "Controls" group on the "Developer" tab, click "Design Mode". This toggles design mode on or off. When active, the "Design Mode" button will appear highlighted or depressed.
