To turn on an ASUS monitor, press the power button.
Finding the Power Button
The power button on your ASUS monitor is typically located on the:
- Front panel: Usually along the bottom edge or on the right-hand side.
- Rear panel: Sometimes located on the back of the monitor, often on the right side as you face the back.
Look for a button with a power symbol (often a circle with a line).
Power Indicator Light
After pressing the power button, check the power indicator light. The color will indicate the monitor's status:
- Solid Blue/White/Green (depending on the model): Indicates the monitor is powered on and functioning normally.
- Flashing Blue/White/Green (depending on the model): The monitor is in power-saving mode or standby.
- Orange/Amber: The monitor is in sleep mode. Try moving your mouse or pressing a key on your keyboard to wake it.
- No Light: Indicates the monitor is off and not receiving power. Make sure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and a working power outlet. Also, ensure the power outlet is switched on.
If the monitor still doesn't turn on after checking these steps, consult your ASUS monitor's user manual or contact ASUS support for further assistance.
