Who is the prettiest goddess?

Published in Mythology 1 min read

Aphrodite is generally considered the prettiest goddess, a title she earned by winning a beauty contest.

According to Greek mythology, Aphrodite's beauty was legendary. She was often depicted as a beautiful young woman with long flowing hair, and her attire was chosen to highlight her feminine attributes. She was frequently shown accompanied by symbols like an apple (a prize for beauty), a shell, a dove, or a swan, all representing beauty and grace. The judgment of Paris, where she was awarded the golden apple over Hera and Athena, solidified her position as the most beautiful.

Because beauty is subjective, other goddesses were also admired for different qualities. However, in terms of acknowledged and celebrated beauty, Aphrodite consistently holds the top position within Greek mythology.
