Bill Nelson is currently the Administrator of NASA.

Nelson was sworn in as the 14th NASA Administrator on May 3, 2021. He is responsible for carrying out the Biden-Harris administration's vision for the agency, which includes continued exploration, scientific discovery, and technological innovation in space.

Prior to becoming NASA Administrator, Nelson served as a U.S. Senator for Florida for 18 years.
