To find your network security key (often your Wi-Fi password) on a Windows computer, follow these steps:
- Click the Search button (usually located on the taskbar).
- Type "control panel" into the search bar and click "Open" from the results. This will launch the Control Panel application.
- In the Control Panel, select "Network and Internet." If you don't see this option, make sure your Control Panel view is set to "Category" in the upper right corner.
- Click on "Network and Sharing Center."
- Locate your Wi-Fi network name in the list of active networks and click on it. This will open the Wi-Fi Status window.
- In the Wi-Fi Status window, click the "Wireless Properties" button.
- In the Wireless Properties window, navigate to the "Security" tab.
- Under the "Security" tab, find the "Network security key" field. To reveal the password, check the "Show characters" checkbox. The key will then be displayed.
Remember that you need appropriate permissions to view the network security key on the computer. If you do not have administrative privileges, you may not be able to see the password.
