To remove a network (specifically a Wi-Fi network) from your computer's saved list, follow these steps:
-
Click Network & Internet settings: This is usually accessible through the system tray (the area in the lower-right corner of your screen) or through the Settings app.
-
Click Wi-Fi and then click Manage known networks: Within the Network & Internet settings, locate the Wi-Fi section. There, you should find an option like "Manage known networks" or "Saved networks".
-
Click the network to remove or delete under the Manage known networks list, then click Forget: A list of all saved Wi-Fi networks will appear. Select the specific network you want to remove and click the "Forget" button (or a similarly worded option like "Remove").
By following these steps, your computer will no longer automatically connect to the selected Wi-Fi network, and it will prompt you for the password if you try to connect again in the future.
