To connect your Nintendo Switch to a TV or monitor, use the following steps:

Connect the HDMI Cable: Plug one end of an HDMI cable into the "HDMI OUT" port on the back of the Nintendo Switch dock. Then, connect the other end of the HDMI cable into an available HDMI port on your TV or monitor.

Remove Joy-Cons: For optimal docked gameplay, remove the Joy-Con controllers from the console and use them wirelessly or attach them to a grip.
