To open an Outlook data file (.pst or .ost) in the Outlook desktop application, follow these steps:

Navigate to the Open Option: In Outlook, go to File > Open & Export > Open Outlook Data File.

Select the File: A file explorer window will appear. Locate and choose the Outlook data file (.pst or .ost) that you want to open.

Access the Data: After selecting the file, it will appear in the Outlook Navigation Pane. Expand the top level of the data file to view its subfolders. Click on each subfolder to access the contents, such as emails, contacts, calendar items, and tasks.
