To change the color of shapes on Pages, follow these steps:

Select the Shape: Click on the shape or text box you want to recolor.

Open the Format Sidebar: Look for the "Format" sidebar on the right side of your Pages window. If it's not visible, click the "Format" button in the toolbar at the top.

Navigate to Style: In the Format sidebar, click on the "Style" tab.

Access Fill Options: In the Style section, locate and select the "Fill" checkbox. This will reveal the fill options for the selected shape.

Choose a Fill Type: You'll have options for different fill types. Here's how to change the color depending on the type you want:
- Preset Color or Gradient: Click the color well (the small square showing the current color) to the right of the "Fill" checkbox. A color palette or gradient options will appear. Simply select the color or gradient you desire.
That's it! Your shape should now be the color you selected.
