The easiest way to remove a paint roller cover is to use a garbage bag to avoid getting paint on your hands.

Here's the method:

1. Take a garbage bag.
2. Stick the paint roller, cover side first, all the way into the bag.
3. Grab the outside of the bag with your hand to secure it around the roller cover.
4. With your hand outside the bag, grab the roller cover itself.
5. Pull the roller cover off the roller frame while it's still inside the bag.

This method keeps the paint contained within the bag, minimizing mess.
