The Role of CAM in PCB Manufacturing

While CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is used by engineers to create the intricate layout and schematics of a circuit board, CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software is the tool that takes those design files and translates them into the specific instructions and data required by manufacturing equipment.
