How Do I Rotate a PDF in Adobe Pro?

Published in PDF Editing 2 mins read

To rotate a PDF in Adobe Pro, follow these steps:

  1. Open the PDF: Launch Adobe Acrobat Pro and open the PDF document you want to rotate.

  2. Access the Organize Pages Tool: There are two ways to access this tool:

    • Method 1: Go to "Tools" in the main menu, then select "Organize Pages."
    • Method 2: Look for the "Organize Pages" tool in the right-hand pane of the Acrobat Pro window. If it's not visible, you may need to add it via the "Tools" menu.
  3. Select Pages to Rotate: Once the "Organize Pages" tool is active, you'll see thumbnails of all the pages in your PDF. Select the page or pages you want to rotate. You can select multiple pages by holding down the Shift or Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) key while clicking. You can also select a range of pages.

  4. Rotate Pages: Use the rotation icons in the toolbar at the top. These icons typically show left and right arrows with a small page icon.

    • Click the left arrow icon to rotate the selected page(s) counterclockwise.
    • Click the right arrow icon to rotate the selected page(s) clockwise.
    • Each click rotates the page(s) by 90 degrees.
  5. Save the PDF: After rotating the desired pages, save the PDF by going to "File" > "Save" or "File" > "Save As" to save the changes. Be sure to choose a new name if you don't want to overwrite the original file.
