To remove a light from a Philips Hue zone, follow these steps within the Philips Hue app:

Go to Settings: Open the Philips Hue app on your smartphone or tablet and navigate to the "Settings" section.

Room Setup: Within Settings, find and select "Room setup". This is where you manage the zones and rooms in your Hue system.

Select the Zone: Tap on the specific zone (or room) from which you want to remove a light. A list of your rooms should appear.

Uncheck the Light: A list of all the lights connected to your Hue Bridge will be displayed, along with checkboxes next to each light. To remove a light from the selected zone, simply uncheck the box next to its name.
After unchecking the box, the light will no longer be part of that zone. It will still be connected to your Hue Bridge and controllable individually or as part of another zone (if assigned).
