You can adjust the hue and saturation in Photopea by using the Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. Here's how:
-
Access the Hue/Saturation Adjustment: Go to the top menu and click on Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation. Alternatively, press Ctrl + U (or Cmd + U on a Mac) to quickly access the Hue/Saturation panel.
-
Adjust the Hue: Use the "Hue" slider to change the colors in your image. Moving the slider shifts all the colors along the color spectrum.
-
Adjust the Saturation: Use the "Saturation" slider to increase or decrease the intensity of the colors. Moving the slider to the right will make the colors more vibrant, while moving it to the left will desaturate them, eventually turning the image grayscale.
-
Adjust the Lightness: The "Lightness" slider controls the overall brightness of the colors. Moving the slider to the right will brighten the colors, while moving it to the left will darken them.
-
Targeted Adjustments (Optional): You can make adjustments to specific color ranges using the dropdown menu at the top of the Hue/Saturation panel. For instance, you can select "Reds" to only adjust the hue, saturation, and lightness of red colors in your image. This allows for more precise color correction.
-
Colorize (Optional): Ticking the "Colorize" box will convert the image to a single hue (determined by the Hue slider) with adjustable saturation and lightness. This is useful for creating monotone effects.
-
Preview and Apply: Preview the changes in real-time and click "OK" to apply the adjustments to your image.
