Using the Instax Mini 11 is straightforward and fun! Here's a simple guide:
Steps to Taking a Photo
- Power On: Press the button located next to the lens to extend it and turn the camera on.
- Compose Your Shot: Look through the viewfinder to frame your photo.
- Snap the Picture: Press the shutter button (the larger button near the viewfinder) to take the picture.
- Wait for Development: The photo will automatically eject from the top of the camera. Allow a few minutes for the image to fully develop. Avoid shaking the picture during development.
Tips for Great Photos
- Outdoor Brightness: The Instax Mini 11 is designed for well-lit conditions. In low light, images may be underexposed.
- Selfies: For selfies, pull the lens out to the "SELFIE ON" position. This adjusts the focal length for closer shots. Hold the camera at arm's length and use the small mirror next to the lens to help frame your face.
- Distance: Be mindful of the shooting distance. The camera works best when the subject is within the optimal focal range.
Changing Film
When the film runs out, the camera will display a "0" in the film counter window. Replace the film pack in a darkroom or shaded area to avoid exposing the new film. Follow the instructions included with the film pack.
