You can add multiple guides in Photopea by repeatedly dragging them out from the rulers onto your canvas.
Adding guides is a straightforward process in Photopea, essential for aligning elements precisely in your design projects. The method for adding multiple guides is simply repeating the steps used to add a single guide.
Steps to Add Multiple Guides
Before you start, ensure that your rulers are visible. If they are not, go to View > Rulers
or press Ctrl + R
(Cmd + R
on Mac). You will also need the Move tool selected from the toolbar.
- Select the Move Tool: Click on the Move tool icon in the toolbar (it looks like a four-headed arrow).
- Locate the Rulers: Find the horizontal ruler at the top of the window and the vertical ruler on the left side.
- Drag from a Ruler: To add a horizontal guide, click on the top ruler and drag the mouse into the document to the desired vertical position.
- Repeat for More Guides: To add another guide, simply repeat step 3. You can drag from either the horizontal or vertical ruler as many times as needed to place multiple guides.
You can place horizontal guides by dragging from the top ruler and vertical guides by dragging from the left ruler.
Managing Guides
Once added, guides can be easily managed using the Move tool.
