You move layers in Photopea using the Move tool.

The Move tool is your primary method for repositioning layers and their contents within the canvas. It is conveniently located as the very first tool icon in the toolbar, making it easy to access whenever you need to adjust the position of your elements.

Using the Move Tool

Here's how you typically use the Move tool to move layers:

1. Select the Move Tool: Click the Move tool icon in the toolbar (it looks like a cross with arrows).
2. Select the Layer(s): In the Layers panel (usually on the right side), click on the layer you want to move. To move multiple layers simultaneously, hold down the Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) key and click on each layer you want to select, or hold Shift to select a range of layers.
3. Drag on the Canvas: Click and drag anywhere on the canvas. The selected layer(s) will move as you drag the mouse.

Quick Access to the Move Tool

Photopea offers a handy shortcut to temporarily switch to the Move tool:

• Press and hold the Ctrl key. This activates the Move tool immediately.
• While holding Ctrl, you can click and drag to move your selected layers.

Moving Multiple Layers
